I’m a lover of lobsters and have purchased so many for my home. Using animals in interiors has been a trend since history began-be it an animal print , animal rug or animal figurine. All of today’s most important interiors experts agree on the use of multiple animals in their many guises in the home. I especially love the use of sea creatures and think this 1950’s brass lobster is very stylish. He serves as a paper weight but I love the look of him (it’s a him) on a stack of books in an entryway or on a console table next to a vase or a bowl. Creating layers in a room is a must and its very easy to do with brining in lovely objects such as this one. Brass is my very favorite metal and its luxurious golden gleam brings a fantastic richness to any room.
