Outstanding set of two chairs by Ib Kofod Larsen in original black leather upholstery with stunning patina.
In 1956, the Danish furniture architect Ib Kofod-Larsen got an assignment from the Swedish furniture maker OPE Möbler to design a series of “Danish” furniture in order to breathe life into the dying Swedish furniture industry.
Finding a matching pair like this is a rare feat. The black leather upolstery is in very good vintage condition. The frame of these chairs is made from solid teak with stylish and elegant shaped details.
