Unusual Lucite Globe Ice Bucket c. 1970’s

love lucite-its insanely chic. Its wonderful shine and gleam is very glamorous and it always brings much needed light and depth to a space. I have several lucite pieces in my home so when I saw this design-I knew I had to have it.

This bucket’s thick lucite style is beyond glamourous and has an amazing presence. When I received it-I fell in love-its one of the best looking pieces I have purchased thus far. The fantastic piece would be the showpiece of any bar or shelf and adds a fabulous 1970’s feel.

The holy grail of bars belonged to famous English designer David Hicks who declared, “I like rows and rows of tonic bottles, apple, tomato juice, two or three syphons of spirits lined up behind each other; it gives a generous, welcoming atmosphere, and if a bus-load of friends descend upon you, you are ready for them.”
