Very Rare Pair of Pierre Cardin Lamps

I love these lamps using Pierre Cardin’s famous C logo.I have seen a few styles of Cardin lamps over the years but NEVER this pair…they are extremely rare and were purchased in a Paris auction where the bidding was fierce.

Cardin’s designs are forever timeless and his furniture pieces are coveted by high end interior designers for their classic, chic appeal. Born in Italy, Cardin moved to Paris in 1945. There, he studied architecture and worked with the fashion house of Paquin after the World War II. He worked with Elsa Schiaparelli until he became head of Christian Dior’s atelier in 1947.

He founded his own house in 1950 and was known for his avant-garde style, use of geometric shapes and motifs and Space Age designs.

This are great investment pieces and a chance to own a rare piece of Cardin history.
